Education as a Tool for Reconciliation: The Failure of the Canadian Curriculum
As of 2022, the Canadian federal curriculum has yet to mandate Indigenous education for Canadian youth. The lack of Indigenous culture, history, and perspectives in the Canadian curriculum has failed to adequately promote Indigenous learning and directly goes against the calls for actions in the TRC.
