Closing The Metabolic Rift with Emma Wiseman

Check out the first video from our Minute Thesis Series, published in the lead-up to the launch of this year’s Chrysalis.

First up: Emma Wiseman. Emma’s piece ‘Closing the Metabolic Rift: Shifting Consumer Behaviour Towards the Local’ is the opening piece from this year’s journal. Chrysalis launches on April 13th. Watch for new Minute Thesis videos on Catalyst over the coming week and check out the IDSSA’s socials for updates on how to get ahold of a copy of the journal.

Emma is a U3 student majoring in International Development Studies with a minor in English Literature. Her research interests include Canadian policy, sustainable development, and food sovereignty. Outside of her studies at McGill, she works as Co-President for McGill Students for Amnesty International, as well as an editor at the Imagist Literary Magazine. In addition to her interest in research, she loves writing creatively and is often reading too many books at once.
