Social Capital Connections: Matthias Hoensich

Check out the third video from our Minute Thesis Series, published in the lead-up to the launch of this year’s Chrysalis.

Next up: Matthias Hoenisch and his piece ‘Social Capital Connections: The Role of Civil Society in Fostering Successful Refugee Integration in the Global North’. Chrysalis launches on April 13th. Watch for new Minute Thesis videos on Catalyst over the coming week and check out the IDSSA’s socials for updates on how to get ahold of a copy of the journal.

Matthias Hoenisch is in the fourth and final year of his Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill, where he is majoring in Political Science and International Development Studies. His research interests are broad, but lately he has been focusing on Canadian social policy and electoral reform. Matthias was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, and will happily reference the Yukon at every opportunity. Outside of school, Matthias likes to spend his time playing soccer, tennis, and basketball. He is also an aspiring foodie, and loves to experiment with cooking new recipes.
